Online Application for User Registration and Renewal Procedures
You can submit the necessary documents for “Library Registration/Renewal” via the Internet.
Those who eligible
- Members of the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences / Faculty of Agriculture
- Members of the Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (IQB)
*If you wish to change / have already changed your Home Library from the Agr. Library, please apply to the library you are changing to.
Required documents
- Application form to Pass to Libraries of the University of Tokyo
- Proof of enrollment (picture)
*Please scan/photograph to show the period of enrollment.
e.g. student ID / faculty ID / identification issued by UTokyo / certificate of enrollment / document proving employment etc. - If renewing “The University of Tokyo Library Card”, an image of the card

Please upload the application form and the picture of proof of enrollment(only jpg, jpeg, or png format) to the link above.
- Please enter your name in the designated field when uploading.
- Notification of document submission by e-mail or other means is not required. (An e-mail notification of the upload will be sent automatically to the library.)
- After registration or renewal, the library will send you an e-mail to confirm your registration.
- If you have not heard from the library after two days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) from the upload, please e-mail the Information Service section.
- If you have student ID / faculty ID, you can use the ID as a library pass.
- If you do not have student ID / faculty ID, you will be issued “The University of Tokyo Library Card”. When you pick up your Library Card or update your description, please come to the library.
