How to Recommend Journals

Request recommendations of journals

We are welcomed to accept your journals of your requests via email or at the service desk. Purchases in journals are arranged based on the requests from users so that we can make the most of our journal collections at the limited budget.
We are looking forward to your requests!
Journals that can be requested are as follows
– Journals that have not been purchased yet in this library
– Academic journals (including e-journals) that should be collected for public as library collections

When you request journal recommendations

Status (undergraduate, graduate, faculty member, or others)
Affiliation
Phone number
The title of the journal you recommend
ISSN of the journal you recommend (if you know)
Information about the journal (Publisher, Website of the journal or URL of CiNii search results)
The reason why you recommend the journal

Those who can request・・・
Undergraduate students belonging to Faculty of Agriculture, graduated students and research students belonging to the graduated school of Agricultural and Life Sciences. You can also apply it in groups or in faculties.

Application period・・・
We accept your requests at any time. The recommended journals will be evaluated, based on the recent Toshokan Unnei Iinkai [Library Management Committee] (4 times/ year). Please not that it may take more than 1 year after you requested, because some journals are available for a limited period of time.

The results of the selection・・・
You will be informed of the results. There is a possibility that we might not be able to meet your request. (In particular, it is more difficult to resume the purchase of journals that were suspended recently, because we have considered fully when we make the decision.
