For Off-Campus Visitors

Admission
- Admission is limited to those who use the library’s collection for research and study purposes. Please confirm the item you want to use in advance by using UTokyo OPAC.

- After completing the admission procedures, visitors may use the library until closing time.
- Please complete the application form at the service desk with your name, contact address, and the materials you wish to use.
- If you are a member of another university or research institute, please present your student ID / faculty ID issued by your institution, otherwise please present your official ID (driver’s license, insurance card, passport, etc. with your current address on it).
Materials for use
- Materials whose “Location” in UTokyo OPAC is “Agr.Lib.XX” (excluding laboratory materials whose “Location” is “Agr.[Laboratory Name]”)
*Please note that library materials may not be available depending on their condition and lending availability.
*Visitors may not enter the library for the sole purpose of using newspapers (original or reduced size).

Borrowing
Books and journals cannot be lent out. However, there are cases that interlibrary loans may be available, so please contact your institution’s library, etc. for more information.

Request photocopy
- If you are unable to come to the library, you may request a photocopy by the following instructions.
- Please apply through your institution’s library, etc.
- If you belong to an institution that does not have a library, or if you are an individual with no current affiliation, please apply through your local public library. (Delivery requests will only be accepted from libraries in Japan.)
- Direct photocopy requests from individuals will not be accepted.
- The fee : 50 yen per sheet for monochrome / 90 yen per sheet for color
