Publication of doctoral dissertations on the Internet
According to the revision of the Degree Regulations, those who were awarded a doctoral degree on or after April 1, 2013 are required to disclose the full text of their doctoral dissertation through UTokyo Repository within one year from the date of the award, in principle.
However, if the Graduate School of Agriculture and Life Sciences recognizes unavoidable circumstances that prevent disclosure via the Internet for more than one year after receiving the degree, an abstract of the doctoral dissertation will be disclosed instead of the full text.
Please refer to the following sites and information when disclosing your doctoral dissertation on the Internet.
Please read “Guide for Doctorate Theses and Copyrights” for copyrights related to the writing and publication of doctoral dissertations.
Special care should be taken when using the copyrighted works of others in your dissertation.
