In order to support access to literature necessary for study and research, Agr. Library will expand from covering the cost of PDF browsing services to covering costs of requesting literature as a trial.
Those who eligible
Members of the following departments who have set Agr. Library as home library
・The Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences / Faculty of Agriculture
・The Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (IQB)
*Please note that those who belong to the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences / Faculty of Agriculture or IQB but whose home library is not Agr. Library are not eligible.
Eligible Services
- Photocopying of materials held by UTokyo libraries
- Photocopying of materials held by other institution
- Ordering actual books from other institution
Trial period
1st July 2024 (Mon.) – 30th June 2025 (Mon.)
*Please note that the trial may be terminated even during the trial period depending on the number of applications and budget situation.
What is requesting literature service?
This service allows you to request photocopies of materials and actual books for the purpose of study and research either to Agr. Library or directly at your laboratory.

Caution
- Use only for requesting literatures necessary for the purpose of study and research.
- Please select “Agr. For requesting literature (paid by the lib.)” for “Selection of a Payment” when requesting from MyOPAC.
- If you have already set up public expenses once, please select an existing public expense.
- If you wish to pay “private expenses” under certain circumstances, please inform us in advance.
- Due to the limited budget, we may contact you individually depending on the amount of the order.
- Requests from some domestic universities and institutions that accept only payment by private expense, and requests from overseas libraries are not eligible for coverage.
